Table Enough

Table Enough is a dining table made in Uruguay and one of the first projects where I properly learned the basics of woodworking and joinery.
The process taught me where precision is essential and where making can be more instinctive. Some joints needed to be exact for the table to work, while other decisions came through handling the timber, adjusting as I went and trusting what felt right rather than trying to control every detail beforehand.
Making in Uruguay also changed the way I approached the project. I felt more comfortable working there and less concerned with achieving the kind of polished perfection I had become used to in Europe. The process felt more direct, practical and relaxed, which gave me more confidence to make decisions through the material itself.
The table became an important early lesson in balancing accuracy with intuition, and helped shape the way I still work today: precise where necessary, but open to irregularity, adjustment and the reality of making by hand.
